Create Your Own Sweatshirt
Sweat shirts are not just used to keep you from feeling cold. This can also be used to make Halloween costumes. That’s right! You read it right. You can make Halloween costumes out of your nice sweatshirts.
You can create your own sweatshirt Halloween costume in a number of ways. The key is to be creative and to use your imagination to come up with a very attractive costume.
A white sweat suit can be used to make a cow or a dog. Get some black felt paper. Cut it in shapes and pin on the sweat shirt or use velcro to attach them. Both dog and cow would need some ears. You can buy ears from costume shops. You can also make your own ears by cutting a cardboard in the shape of ears and color it with black. Attach the ears on a headband that you can wear.
The tail can be made by sewing a fabric that is thin and long. Stuff it with cotton. And attach it to the costume to create your own sweatshirt dog or cow Halloween costume. Don’t forget to draw a dark circle around one of your eyes using a make up to look like a dog. Some whiskers will also be helpful to create the illusion. Use Eye lining or eyebrow pencil to draw the whiskers on the face.
Another way to make a costume out of the sweatshirt is to attach lots of balloons on the sweatshirt. Choose purple for the color of the balloon. Now you will look like a giant bunch of grapes.
Black cats are often popular in horror movies and most of the time they are being branded as bad luck for some people. And so they are famous during Halloween. To create your own sweatshirt black cat costume, hand sew black felt triangles on the hood of the black sweatshirt. Glue white smaller felt triangles inside the black ones. Wear it with black pants and shoes. Draw whiskers on your face using an eyeliner. Now that is a Halloween cat.
You can make a ghost using a white sweatshirt with hood. For this, you need to make a mask. It would be nice if the face of your ghost will look like the ghost from Scary movie. You can jjsut print it from the internet, paste it on cardboard and cut holes in the eyes and mouth.
Wear the mask of the ghost then wear the hoodie. Use white pants or wrap a white cloth around your waist and tie it with a string. Now you know that is is so easy to create your own sweatshirt ghost costume for Halloween.
